I heard Loui Giglio several years ago say that God's name is "BE". He got this from when God told Moses to tell the people that "I Am" had sent him when they asked him. "I am that I am" is a perpetual state of being and so can be shorted to "BE". Well, if this is the case then words like "beloved" (which is a compound word) can be separated to be-loved or BE loved (God loved), beheld/behold can mean God-held/God-hold, etc. Pretty cool, huh?
