Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given to me so that I will fearlessly
make known the mystery of the gospel for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare
it as fearlessly as possible.
Women’s Retreat with Angel Grove
What a privilege it was for me to be invited to bring God’s word to the precious ladies of Angel Grove Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Alabama! The retreat was held at Chestnut Bay Resort in Leesburg, Alabama and the theme was: A faithful friend (Proverbs 18:24). We had a wonderful time sharing, laughing, crying, and playing games that will forever be etched in my mind!! (Ladies, you know what I mean!!!) God also blessed me and my best friend Angel to attend the retreat together and catch up on lost time. God filled the meeting room with His presence and truly showed us how to become Godly friends.
Games that will be etched into your mind and BURNED into my memory (HA!). What a blessing this retreat was! Thanks to all the ladies, especially Amanda, for the welcome that we received and all the little details that went into making us feel special. Corrie you did a great job allowing God to shine through!!
Corrie – thank you for your time and the wonderful message. I was one of the newbies in that incredible game and in the room next door to you and Angel (I’m the migraine lady). Even though I missed Saturday morning I was so grateful to have your notes. May God continue to bless you, your family (and friends!) and your ministry.
